A traditional lace closure system with metal hooks and D-rings make it easy to tighten and loosen the boots to your preference. Securing the fit even more is a debris-blocking bellows tongue that sits comfortably on the ankle and will keep all debris and dirt out.
Padding in the form of sturdy material around the toes, heel and ankle wraps and protects the foot to reduce the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. A moulded nylon arch shanks offers excellent underfoot protection from stones on rocky trails too.
At the core of the shoe there's a Merrell Air Cushion that can absorb up to four times your weight and helps to correctly align the foot within the shoe for a more comfortable and stable walk. Moreover, a dual-directional EVA midsole works continuously to reduce and disperse impact forces away from the foot providing.
