The LEKI Makalu FX Carbon Compact is a folding, continuously adjustable carbon pole built for mountain use where packability and comfort matter. It uses the Aergon Air grip with hollow core technology for a lightweight build with supportive contact surfaces, plus a fully rubberised grip head for control on descents. The pole folds down for easy stowing, then adjusts quickly using the Speed Lock 2 plus external clamping system, giving a secure hold and fast length changes on the move.
